The revolutionary eyeOS 1.6 is right on its way, soon to be released. Since I was busy on my works in the last few weeks, I haven't got any chance to run a test on 1.6 BETA which can be downloaded here.

The exciting features of eyeOS 1.6 includes Synchronization with local files and folders, Mobile Access, Desktop Widgets, and some improvements of current features, more information from eyeOS blog.

eyeOS is the only web app I subscribed and categorized under a Web 3.0 label at present. On my humble opinion, communication, synchronization and integration between local OS and remote web OS is the very begin revolution of the futuristic distributed data storage working modal, I could imagine such a world/web that initial OS installation is no more necessary since we have our computers automatically synchronized by logon with universal passport identity via the omnipresent wireless mesh network incessantly, drop-in data stream gives life-streaming a real go!
